My Power Luber is blowing Grease out the Weep Hole.  Must be something wrong with the 271883 or the gun itself?   See Photos Below.  No, nothing wrong with the power luber.  Read below

#1 That is the weep hole off the pressure relief. They may have a blockage in the hose, or inlet passage on the gun head to the hose,or the fittings they are trying to grease is blocked causing over pressurization which is opening the relief
#2 The relief is doing it's job of relieving the excess pressure. before cleaning remove the grease tube assembly so he does not lose all his grease currently in the tube. Remove the hose and relief, as well as the check ball and spring(big hex under where hose attaches), and clean out the head using mineral spirits or transmission fluid(if no mineral spirits are available), reinstall the relief and hose. if it still pushed out the relief, replace the hose.
#3 Those are usually the fixes.
#4 This is common when used in a dirty environment or there is lack of maintenance to equipment. dried lubricant, dirt, or any type of debris(i've seen plastic blocking a hose up before) will cause this. I would suggest cleaning the guns at least once a month, if not more frequent if these are used frequently
#5 Quick method is the remove the grease tube assembly, flip gun upside down and remove as much of the remaining lubricant out of the head inlet as possible so the piston and inlet passage is visible. Next, with unit still upside down, pour in some automatic transmission fluid and cycle this through the gun. If they belief this may cause a hose blockage, remove the hose as well before proceeding. This should break up any debris that could be lurking in the passages and push it out the outlet.
#6 More thorough method is to completely disassemble the lubricant side of the gun and carefully scrub everything out with nylon brushes and mineral spirits.(brass or steel may damage the check seat surface). if the hose is suspected of being clogged, DO NOT try to back flush the whip hose, replace it.
#7 Once completely dispensed. reassemble, prime and they will be ready to go. Should only take a couple minutes to do
